Should I Go?

Should I go?

Leaving would mean almost certain unexpectedness,

almost certain euphoria,

almost certain sadness.

Staying would mean keeping the life I’ve always had,

keeping the happiness I’ve always known,

keeping the sadness limited to things I control.

If I do leave, I have to experience anew,

start over.

If I do stay, I can keep what I’ve always had,

to let it sit.

If I leave, I’ll never come back.

If I stay, I never have to go.

To never go…

Should I go?
